South Seattle Emerald is a nonprofit media organization dedicated to "Amplifying the Authentic Narratives of South Seattle". When the Emerald first launched in 2014, I had the honor of helping build a brand that filled a much-needed hole in the media landscape, and has grown into one of the most well-loved and trusted sources for local news and views in the area.
Over the past five years, I've had the opportunity to assist with everything from branding the Rainmaker fundraising campaigns to helping produce some of the great community events the Emerald is known for.
