Since 2003, Skyway Outdoor Cinema (SOC) has grown into an annual summertime tradition for families on Seattle's southern border. Hosted by the all-volunteer nonprofit West Hill Community Association, SOC brings free family films and fun for four Fridays each F... August.
When I took over organizing the event in 2013, I created a fresh new brand identity that has become a placemaking point of community pride.
