The Residency is an innovative program that prepares underserved youth to excel in the music industry. A passion project of Grammy award-winning duo Macklemore & Ryan Lewis in collaboration with the nonprofit ArtsCorps and Seattle's Museum of Pop Culture (MoPOP), The Residency celebrated its fifth anniversary with a sold-out fundraiser event at the legendary Paramount Theatre with performances by youth, alumni, local artists on the rise, a guest appearance by Sir Mix-A-Lot, and a final set by Macklemore himself.
When circumstances left less than two weeks to design all collateral for the event, from programs, red carpet logo walls and on-screen graphics to VIP rooftop afterparty signage, I was humbled to be entrusted to step in and ensure all assets were successfully completed and delivered on time. The supporting materials and graphics helped ensure the talented youth performers had an ideal environment to shine, and that donors had clear calls to action to inspire support for such a great program.
